    2015 LML AUTOCAL INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Plug the autocal into the truck’s OBD II port using the supplied cord.
    2. Turn the ignition to the run position, do not start the vehicle.
    3. Scroll down until you see “Tuning tool” and then click OK
    4. Select “Program Cal”
    5. Scroll down to tune of choice and then click “ok”
    6. Once you select your tune and license, the tuner will then flash the truck. This flash should take 1-2 minutes. Once this flash has finished, you need to turn the key off, it may or may not prompt this, but turn the key off and wait for the countdown. Once the countdown has completed, the vehicle has been tuned. Turn the key on and enjoy your newfound power.

    * It is advised to have a lift pump when running the street tune, and is required for the max effort tune. *

    How to Datalog with Autocal *BBx*

    1. Select “Scan tool”
    2. Scroll down to “RECORD DATA”
    3. Select controller type you want to log and click ok (e54LB7, e60-LLY, e35a-LBZ, e35b-LMM, E86A-11-14LML, E86B-2015LML)
    4. Click ok on “Record Data” to data log and send to us or “Display Data” to verify information for yourself.
    5. Click ok and the time should pop up to show that you are recording.
    6. Once you are done recording, press ok, and it will stop recorded and save the log to the device.

    How to check codes without a code reader

    1. Put the key in the ignition with doors closed.
    2. Cycle the key THREE times from the OFF position to the RUN position without cranking the engine.
    3. Leave in the RUN position on the THIRD cycle.

    The RUN position is TWO clicks while the ACCESSORY position is only ONE click.

    Example: KEY IN (OFF) – RUN – OFF – RUN – OFF – RUN If there are any DTCs present, they will be displayed one at a time on the odometer When all codes have been displayed, or there are no codes, the odometer will read “DONE”

    How to clear "Oil Change Required" message

    1. Put the key in the ignition with doors closed
    2. Turn the key to the RUN position without cranking the engine
    3. Press the ACCELERATOR pedal to the floor THREE times within 10 seconds
    4. Turn the key to the OFF/LOCK position
    5. The “Oil Change Required” message should no longer appear. If it does, you may need to repeat the procedure.

    How to clear codes without a code reader

    NOTE: Depending on which flash is on your PCM, there is a chance that this procedure will not work. In that case, it is best to use an XRT, Black Maxx, or OBD-II scanner to clear the codes.

    1. Put the key in the ignition with doors closed.
    2. Cycle the key FIVE times from the OFF position to the RUN position without cranking the engine. Leave in the RUN position on the FIFTH cycle. Note: The RUN position is TWO clicks while the
    3. ACCESSORY position is only ONE click.

    *Example: KEY IN (OFF) – RUN – OFF – RUN – OFF – RUN – OFF – RUN – OFF – RUN This will clear any DTCs that are currently active or stored in the PCM.

    How to clear the "Performance Service" message on the overhead console in your Cummins

    1. Put the key in the ignition with doors closed
    2. Turn the key to the RUN position without cranking the engine
    3. Press and release the BRAKE pedal TWO times
    4. Press the ACCELERATOR pedal to the floor slowly TWO times within 10 seconds
    5. Turn the key to the OFF/LOCK position
    6. The “Perform Service” message should no longer appear. If it does, you may need to repeat the procedure.

    How to use High Idle with an automatic transmission

    1. Put the key in the ignition with doors closed
    2. Start the vehicle
    3. With vehicle in Park, take your foot off of all pedals
    4. Turn the Cruise Control system ON
    5. Press “Set” to enable high-idle
    6. Use the ACCEL/DECEL buttons to adjust idle to desired speed
    7. To cancel high-idle, tap the brake or simply turn the Cruise Control system OFF

    How to Read Out Stock File(only have to do this one time per truck)

    1. Plug the Autocal into the trucks OBD port and turn the key ON, NOT cranked.
    2. Scroll down until you see “Tuning tool” and then click OK
    3. Click ok on your ecm type (e54LB7, e60-LLY, e35a-LBZ, e35b-LMM) – It will read your stock file out of the vehicle, then tell you to turn the ignition off and click ok.
    4. Once countdown finishes, you are ready to flash your truck.

    How to Flash Tunes Into Vehicle

    1. Turn Key on, but NOT cranked.
    2. Once you obtain your stock file, Scroll down until you see “Tuning tool” and then click OK
    3. Scroll down and click on the “ Program Full” option and select your choice of tune Duramax will have one option “Full 1 DSP5” Cummins will be the name of the tune file (example: tow)or CSP5
    4. Scroll down and click“ok” on your tune
    5. It will ask you to License ECU, click ok.
    6. Wait for download to complete, then turn ignition off, click ok and wait for countdown to complete.

    How to Datalog with Autocal *BBx*

    1. Select “Scan tool”
    2. Scroll down to “RECORD DATA”

    7. Many of the options (PIDs) you see are the options that are available that will help us diagnose any issues you may be having with your truck.

    To Verify DSP5 Voltage

    1. Truck needs to be in the RUN position and Autocal plugged in.
    2. Select “Scan tool”
    3. Select “Select PIDs” and select OK. Then select engine type. LB7: E54, LLY: E60, LBZ: E35A, LMM: E35B
    4. Scroll and find “Display Data” and select OK.
    5. Scroll down and you will see Engine Type + DSP5V as an option. (EX: E35ADSP5V). STOP.
    6. As you switch using the DSP5 switch, the voltage number will change from 4.97 and will drop. This means the switch it working properly. If it does not change it is not correctly installed.To Read and Clear Codes
    7. Scroll down to “Trouble codes” and click “ok”
    8. Scroll down to “Display all DTCs” and select “ok”
    9. To clear codes- Scroll down to “Clear codes”

    Troubleshooting basics: Error Code $0281 means there is no power to the Autocal, make sure your key is all the way in the run position (not cranked). If a Duramax, check cigarette lighter fuse. The OBD port runs off of the same fuse and sometimes it will pop. Replace and try again. If code continues to pop up, turn key off for 15 seconds, unplugAutocal, and retry operation. If problem persist, please contact the dealer you purchased the unit from and we will all work to resolve your issue.

    2011-2014 LML AUTOCAL INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Plug the autocal into the truck’s OBD II port using the supplied cord.
    2. Turn the ignition to the run position, do not start the vehicle.
    3. Scroll down until you see “Tuning tool” and then click OK
    4. Select “Program FULL” and then select tune “A_FLASH”
    5. It will ask if you want to LICENSE ECU NOW? Press the OK button.
    6. It will now ask if you are sure, once again press the OK button. The device should now say Flashing with a percentage below it. The flashing process should take 3-5 minutes. The “A_Flash” tune (full or prog) will no longer be used after flash is complete.
    7. When the flash has finished, the Autocal will prompt you to turn the ignition off, once off the countdown will begin.
    8. Once the countdown is finished, turn the key back on but do not start the vehicle.
    9. Select “Program Cal”*All the tunes for the truck will be under Program Cal*
    10. Scroll down to tune of choice and then click “ok”

    1. Put the key in the ignition with doors closed.
    2. Turn the key to the RUN position without cranking the engine.
    3. Press until you get to “ELEVATED IDLE PRESS ? TO CHANGE”
    4. Press to toggle the feature ON or OFF
    5. Press to SET your selection. The truck should beep once to acknowledge the change
    6. How to enable or disable the Elevated Idle feature without a DIC system.
    7. Put the key in the ignition with doors closed
    8. Turn the key to the RUN position without cranking the engine
    9. Fully depress the ACCELERATOR pedal to the floor and hold
